Cat Syman is an editor and writer based in Albany, New York. Currently, she is a Digital Producer at Times Union.
Previously, she was a Digital Editor for Endgame360, handling freelance coordination, content strategy, data analysis, and editing. Prior to that, she was the Communications Coordinator at The Glimmerglass Festival, an opera and musical theater company in Cooperstown, New York, handling content marketing and assisting with PR and advertising.
Her poetry and fiction have appeared in Willard and Maple, Red Cedar Review, and The Casserole.
She graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. One of her passions is living in cold places. Another passion of hers includes traveling to get away from them — you could say she is dynamic.
She enjoys traveling, photography, reading, and endlessly scrolling social media. Her worst quality is constantly recommending podcasts. Loves to tell jokes. Not at all funny.
